HYSTAR: PEM STACK MANUFACTURER AND DEVELOPER

It is an engineering and manufacturing company of PEM stacks for hydrogen generation through the electrolysis process, based in Norway. Constantly committed to research and development of high-performance units and to the improvement of its production processes, it now offers the market the most efficient PEM stack worldwide.

THE STORY OF A FRUITFUL COLLABORATION

The two companies successfully collaborated on the development of a 1 MW hydrogen production unit for Fortum, engaged in the virtuous cycle of clean energy production and
distribution in Northern Europe. The division of project responsibilities highlighted each company’s specific expertise:
Hystar provided the process and the PEM stack,
Sinergia handled detailed mechanical, electrical, and electronic engineering development, as well as the construction of the unit.

A rigorous inspection of the plant, successfully carried out in the presence of the customer, confirmed the strength of this collaboration, bearing out the forward-looking strategy shared with the client as well, committed to pursuing environmental sustainability goals.
