N2 for Artificial Lift and EOR

ON SITE NITROGEN GENERATOR

Sinergia, thanks to its long-term experience in N2 generation in extreme ambient conditions, has developed a containerized solution specifically designed for on-site N2 generation and injection ideal in upstream application for revitalizing depleted and abandoned wells.


N2 production and injection, has been proven to be one of the more effective, reliable, and economic ways to increase oil/gas production in low pressurized wells and to deploy oil of reservoirs in their tertiary stage.

Supplied capacity can be potentially expanded by increasing the number of modules that have been designed for easy transport, installation, and functional interconnection.

Remote monitoring and controlling of all operational and production parameters, with self-regulating logics, also connectable with multiphase meters, contributes to keeping constant the production independently from instant pressure variations and progressive decrease due to well aging.

Reliability of the system reached 99% under 24/24h – 360 dd/y operation in extreme ambient conditions up to +55°C ambient temperature. This is the amazing result of 2 years of technical development of this technology.

N2 ADVANTAGES and SYSTEM APPLICATIONS

WHY NITROGEN USE?

  • Gaseous N2 can be produced from air whenever, wherever in needed quantity and concentration.
  • N2 is cheaper than natural gas and CO2
  • Substitution of N2 to natural gas injection recover the gas production
  • It’s environmentally friendly, ambient leakage has no contamination effect.
  • Its use is safe. All explosion, flammable issues are excluded in presence of hydrocarbons and gas from 98% N2 concentration on.
  • It is possible to inject N2 at high temperature (when asphaltenes and waxes are present), to reduce viscosity.
  • N2 Is miscible in hydrocarbons when injetced in pressure, with oil deployment effect in reservoirs for EOR applications.
  • N2, even in presence of water, has not corrosive effect on metals.
