In a desert area, in the middle of nowhere, at the worst environmental conditions (55°C and in presence of sandstorms), we started the compressors and dryers of our project 4015 in Algeria Bir El Msana field in June 2015.
Why
The BMS camp is located at the northern edge of the Berkine Basin in Algeria, around 270 kilometers east of Hassi Messaoud, 60 kilometers west of El Borma and 600 kilometers south of the Skikda port. The target of the BMS field development has been to implement a site already active in the production and collection of crude oil, with new infrastructures and equipment, including our air-compressors and air-dryers.
From BMS production facility, the crude oil is then transported to a processing plant for the treatment and the final delivery to Sonatrach, the Algerian National Oil Company of Algeria, our highly estimated customer.
How
It has been a very challenging project, especially for the site of installation, but everything was thoroughly analysed and solved, bringing to Sonatrach (and our) satisfaction.
